The Discharge Mesh Screen is a fine-mesh stainless steel screen installed at the product discharge port of VTA wiped-film evaporators, preventing wiper element debris and particulates from contaminating the distillate stream. The mesh screen acts as a final in-line filter before the distillate exits the evaporator body and enters the receiving flask. An OEM VTA replacement maintenance part; inspect and replace during periodic maintenance or whenever contamination of the distillate fraction is observed.
