It holds the SKR wiper elements and rotates within the evaporator body to continuously spread feed material as a thin, uniform film on the heated evaporator surface. The condition of the rotary basket directly affects distillation throughput and separation quality; inspect and replace during major overhauls or when visible wear is detected.
