The VTA Gear Pump Type 0.6 – Snap Ring (#20) is a hardened steel retaining ring used to axially lock gears, bearings, and shaft components within the VTA Gear Pump Type 0.6 assembly. Snap rings prevent lateral displacement of rotating components during pump operation. An inexpensive but essential OEM maintenance part for VTA VKL and VKS series distillation equipment; inspect and replace during pump rebuilds or whenever the pump head is disassembled.
